I was the poster child for 'the change-impaired'. Even after three
near-fatal experiences, I still find making big changes a challenge.
Fortunately, I created a seven-stage change model that helps me
access the wisdom and the courage to change now without the trauma
and drama. For those of you who suffer like I did from a 'rut producing fear of the unknown', I provide a light at the end of your tunnel through my coaching, public speaking, workshops,
and tapes.
I
welcome you to your LifeQuake journey with this message:
If
you wake up, you don't have to grow up. You just remember who you
really are!

BIO
"Cartographer of the human psyche" is how one columnist
described Dr. Toni Galardi. Having spoken to thousands of people,
Dr. Galardi knows that scores of adults in every age group are searching
for meaning in their lives. The search often begins with inner rumblings.
Left unattended, they can reach seismic proportion, leading to complete
metamorphosis. The term Toni has coined for this phenomenon is LifeQuake. It is a phenomenon she feels is reaching critical mass worldwide.
Toni's
formal education comprises a Bachelor's Degree in Health Services
Administration, a Master's Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child
Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Psychology. By the age of 26 she was
well established: married to a successful businessman, teaching
seminars, and thriving in private practice. From the outside her
life looked good.
Glossing
over her own inner rumblings, Galardi began a subtle but steady
slide downward. It took three serious auto accidents within six
days to shake her into really feeling the effect of her own tremors
and a lifestyle she had outgrown. But the true turning point would
not come until she lost everything, including her health, to toxic
mold.
Since
then, Galardi has charted a seven-stage process that leads one
from the dysfunctional self to what she calls the Trans-functional
Self: one who accesses multiple levels of consciousness to make
choices with agile authenticity, preempting unnecessary catastrophic
crisis.
In
her new book (Fall 2005 release), LifeQuake, Galardi profiles some of
the most successful examples of the LifeQuake model from interviews
culled from her former talk show People on the Edge.
Toni interviewed major risk-takers like Suzy Prudden, national
fitness expert and author of MetaFitness. Enrico Colantoni, star of the hit show Just Shoot
Me, Ted Green, award-winning ESPN sports producer and Betty
Friedan, pioneer of the Women's Movement.
A noted
seminar leader, Galardi has adapted the LifeQuake model for Corporate
America as well. Working with companies as diverse as Arco, Xerox,
Interactive Arts, and International Media Network (to name a few),
she has counseled scores of corporate executives as well as small business entrepreneurs. Today,
Toni's consulting practice and public speaking engagements focus
mainly on those seeking to transform their chaotic existence into
a life that combines joy with genuine purpose.
